THE COMMISSION PROCESS

Step 1:

I receive your request for a custom painting and follow up with some questions by email.

Some questions to consider:

- What size would you like your painting to be?

- Are there certain colors you would like to be included in the painting?

- What is your budget for this painting?

- What is your deadline?

- If the landscape or location is difficult for me to visit in person, do you have available photos of it for me to reference?

THE CANVAS

  • I paint on gallery wrapped canvas and canvas board.

  • Common canvas sizes (in inches) include: 8x10, 11x14, 12x16, 16x20, 18x24, 24x30, 30x40.

  • Each commission will have a custom quote based on canvas size, complexity, cost of materials, and your budget.
